This topic describes how to define user accounts and their permissions. Defines the Access Rights for system users.
By default an Administrator Role is created for the system. Access to the Administrator Role should be limited as it has unlimited access to the complete system.
Configure access permissions in a role and assign it to a user. Each user should have at least one role. The Security System checks permissions for each role and determines access rights as described in this help section. For best practice purposes we recommend that security to the system only be administered via the Desktop RHOP system and not via the web interface. Also only administrators should have access to the Security section of the system.
