System Management

 

 

The System Management section contains the various tables, pick list etc.. that controls and defines the overall Unipco System.

 

Common: contains the general Pick List used by the system

 

Contact Position: permits the user to define the various position help by the various contacts entered in the system (i.e. General manager, chef, salesperson, etc...)

Preferred Language: defines the preferred language of the contact person / member

Document type:  The user defined classification for the documents uploaded into the system (i.e Letter, Contract,, etc.)

 

 

Suppliers / Distributors contain the tables related to these entities

 

Suppliers / Distributors Categories: defines the classification of the Suppliers and Distributors for tracking and data classification purposes.  The Categories names must be entered in both French and English.

 

 

Product Related: Contains the tables related to the various products defined in the system

 

Product Guide Related: List of pick list related to the Product Guide

Products ( UNIPCO Descriptions) Related: Tables defining the Product descriptions and pick lists.

 

 

Employee Related: These are the base pick list and tables that help manage the Employees able to use the system.  These tables work in concert with the Employees section contained in the Company Settings section.

 

Employee Roles: defines the possible roles / position / group  that an employee is part of in the organization. (i.e. staff, salesperson, accounting etc..).  This Role pick list is the pick list used in the Employees profile.

 

 

Security:  Defines the security access rules to apply to a user defined in the Employees profile option in the Company Settings section.

 

User: defines the user account assigned to an employee.  This User account is linked to the Employees profiles and defines the access rules the Employee is given.  This user account also tracks the activities of the employee for audit purposes.

Roles: defines the security roles ( access rights) available for assignment to a user account (above). The security roles are cumulative in nature and more than one role can be assigned to a user giving the ability to tailor the access rights as required.
