RHOP User Interface (UI) > Overview > Password Requirements

All RHOP users have to comply with the following password requirements:

•Must never contain the user’s account name or parts of the user’s full name

•Must be at a minimum 14 characters in length (shorter passwords will be rejected, there is no limit on the maximum number of characters a password can contain). Users’ password strength should be tested using : How Secure Is My Password? | Password Strength Checker (security.org) before being use. The minimum strength should be above 1 million years for a computer to crack it. A simple example that is easy to remember is a meaningful sentence for you, such as (DO NOT USE) : “I like 2 Drive” (space included). It would take about 400 million years to crack this password(at the time this password example was created). DO NOT USE obvious information about yourself (i.e. partners name or kids names) and never share your passwords.

•Must contain one character from all four categories:

oEnglish uppercase characters (A through Z)

oEnglish lowercase characters (a through z)

oBase 10 digits (0 through 9)

oNon-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %, space)

•Sales Team members must provide an active email account to be included in their RHOP user profile. The email sends a time sensitive 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) code that must be entered in the logon screen to confirm their identity.

•Access to RHOP account will be automatically refused and the account locked if too many attempts or if the attempts do not meet the security parameters defined. If the account is locked contact the corporate office RHOP system administrator to have the account unlocked. A detail log of logon attempt are recorded.
